Portugal has amended Decree-Law No. 85/2022 to allow conference organisers under NACE code 82300 to deduct 100% of VAT. This code pertains to the organisation of fairs, congresses, and similar events. The amendment covers expenses such as transport and travel, accommodation, food and drinks, reception expenses, and expenses related to properties intended for receptions. The amendment took effect on 22 December 2022.
