Ecommerce Europe welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback on the “VAT in the Digital Age” proposal of the European Commission, which is a big step forward to delivering a simplified and modernised VAT system in the EU. Our paper addresses first and foremost the pillar on Single VAT Registration in the EU as this will be a key simplifier for businesses operating in the EU.
