The turnover in the VAT statements will have a direct impact on the calculation of the obligation to invest in Swiss filmmaking.
With the referendum of May 15, 2022, the Swiss people voted on the changes to the new film law and accepted them with 58.4% yes votes. There is now an obligation to invest in Swiss filmmaking. The VAT statements are used to determine the gross income.
