Plastic has created numerous environmental problems, and thus – many countries have already begun implementing plastic tax rules as an attempt to discourage the production and usage of single use plastic products.
Plastic packaging tax (“PPT”), is a new type of environmental tax aimed to reduce the usage of new plastic and increase awareness on the availability of recycled plastic that can be used instead.
