Comments on ECJ C-695/20: Online platforms and VAT collection

The European Commission today published a press release relating to online platforms and the collection of VAT. This press release comes following the judgment FENIX INTERNATIONAL.

The Council did not exceed the limits of its power of execution by specifying that the manager of a platform, such as Only Fans, is presumed to be the provider of the services provided.
