As we all know, issuing e-Receipt was mandatory for the first two groups of taxpayers which were released by the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) from the official website. First steps started on July 1, 2022 for 153 companies and then continued with additional 400 companies on 1 October 2022. With the last update 2,000 more companies added to obligations. In the latest news they mentioned “The decision includes obligating 2,000 taxpayers / taxpayers to issue electronic tax receipts for services performed or goods sold to the final consumer as of January 15, 2023.“
