The United Arab Emirates (“UAE”) issued Federal Decree Law No. 18 of 2022 (“VAT Law Amendments”) amending certain provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2017 on Value Added Tax (“VAT Law”). The VAT Law Amendments are effective as from 1 January 2023.
