Brazil proposes to harmonise e electronic invoice for services, via the Nota Fiscal de Serviós Eletrônica (NFS-e). Currently, the format is set locally by the states and municipalities. NFS-e covers the ISSQN – Imposto Sobre Serviços de Qualquer Natureza tax.
