Council of Ministers approved the notifications for the long-term budget for 2023-2024

• Excise duties on tobacco, including alternative tobacco products, such as e-liquids for vapers, will be increased;
• The packaging levy will be extended;
• The support measures for excise duties for companies will be extended until Q1/2023;
• The VAT reduction on electricity, gas and heat via heat networks will be extended until Q1/2023;
• The excise duty reduction for petrol and diesel will be extended until Q1/2023;
• The federal taxation of the energy bill is being reformed;
