The number of decisions of tax authorities regarding VAT fraud is decreasing. While for 2016 it was over three thousand, for 2021 only 62. In the opinion of the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs, this proves the effectiveness of the regulations against tax fraud introduced in recent years.
