Looking at this region, we can see a great variety of implemented or planned CTC models. Italy and Turkey have adopted countrywide centralized exchange models, Basque Country in Spain introduced a real-time invoice reporting scheme and Malta with Cyprus are embracing the Peppol approach. Greece, facing an accounting data reporting obligation, plans to implement e-invoicing in the public sector via Peppol.
