A further extension of the reduced VAT rate of 13% for passenger transport, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, cinema, tourist packages, gyms, etc. The application of the reduced rate was introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and was subsequently extended to 30 June 2022. The reduced rate is now extended to 31 December 2022. Further, the 6% reduced VAT rate provided for products needed for personal hygiene and protection is also extended to 31 December 2022.
