Based on webinars held earlier this week (week of May 23), we noticed couple of interesting point on the implementation of mandatory E-Invoicing in Belgium:
- Mandatory B2B E-invoicing
- Real Time Reporting not in scope
- No EU approval yet, unclear whether this has been requested already
- Gradual implementation
- Initial start date was 2023, delay till 2024 expected
- E-Invoicing based on Peppol 4-corner model
- Focus on E-Invoicing between Belgian VAT registered taxpayers
