Restriction of import of certain goods related to waste and scrap of precious metals

India has issued issued an amendment in the import policy of ITC (HS) Codes under tariff head 7112 under Chapter 71 (i.e. natural or cultured pearls, precious or semi-precious stones, precious metal, metals clad with precious metal and articles thereof, imitation jewellery, coin) and of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule – I (Import Policy), with immediate effect, in order to restrict the import of certain goods related to waste and scrap of precious metals.
