Armenia-Belarus-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Russia
The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved a temporary increase in the duty-free (exemption) threshold for foreign online purchases from EUR 200 to EUR 1,000 per parcel until 1 October 2022. The EEC is the regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. The temporary increase is being provided, at the suggestion of Russia, to support individuals who order goods for personal use in foreign online stores and may be impacted by sanctions. A maximum 31 kg per parcel threshold also applies for the exemption, which is unchanged.
