The Indian Goods and Services Tax Council (GST council) has proposed the the GST net be extended to online platforms offering the following services on their own account or via third-party merchants on their platforms = ‘e-commerce operators’:
- Tax rides
- Ride sharing
- Food delivery
- Other restaurant services
