On Friday, September 17, the first reading of the draft amendments to the VAT Act took place. It is about introducing the National System of e-Invoices. The new system will start operating in January 2022. Initially, its use will be voluntary, but the Ministry of Finance wants to oblige all entities to invoice electronically. The project was sent to work in committees. The assumption is to simplify sales documentation and VAT settlement.
