Based on numerous initiatives and consultations with representatives of the economy (importers, declarants, software providers, the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia) and taking into account other circumstances related to the readiness to introduce a new Slovenian automated import system (SIAIS2), it was decided to use of SIAIS2 postponed to 1 January 2022.
We reiterate our call on software providers, declarants and importers to carry out appropriate testing of the filing of customs declarations in the SIAIS2 test environment in the period from 1 October 2021 to 31 December 2021, in order to use the test period to adjust their customs operations accordingly.
