The implementation of the new e-Tax Compliance system in Greece will see the light of day next July . Starting April 2021, businesses started submitting their tax information electronically through the national myDATA platform.
The digitization of the Greek tax system was approved in 2019 by law Νόμος ν. 4646/2019. However, the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the postponement of the implementation of this system.
The Greek tax authority, the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR), has decided to give companies additional time to allow them to adapt to the new electronic tax declaration system deployed.
