Owners of solar panels who want to reclaim VAT and whose turnover will be very limited – less than 1,800 euros per year – will soon no longer have to register for the small business scheme. That is the answer from State Secretary Vijlbrief of Finance to questions from the House of Representatives. In addition, the Tax and Customs Administration is busy automating the VAT refund process for solar panel owners and converting it to a digital form. That will be available around June this year.
