The Ministry of Finance has heard of the companies’ plight and announced on 13 April 2021 that it will start preparing a new temporary simplified payment scheme for taxes.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Finance , the applicable interest rate would be 2.5% as last spring, which is significantly lower than the 7% rate normally applicable. According to the release, the changes are again temporary and would affect the taxes included in the payment arrangement.
