Australia’s federal government on 20 November 2020 launched a consultation on options to mandate e-invoicing for all government agencies (federal, state, and local) as well as businesses. The public phase of the consultation process was completed on 18 January 2021 and the Treasury currently are reviewing the responses and will report to government.
