Thailand has no plans to adjust VAT rate in a bid to alleviate the people’s burden on cost of living

Government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri said the current rate was based on the Cabinet’s resolution in August 2020 that approved keeping the VAT at seven per cent from Oct 1, 2020 to Sept 30, 2021.
