- The Minister of Finance, Funds and Regional Policy, Tadeusz Kościński, and the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Poland, Andrej Droba, signed an agreement on the automatic exchange of tax information in the field of VAT.
- Declarations on this matter were already signed by both countries in June 2020 in Bratislava.
- The conclusion of the agreement is another stage in the implementation of the plan to strengthen partnership in the field of improving the effectiveness of combating tax fraud, initiated by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
- Slovakia is the 5th country, next to the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary and Ukraine, which joined international cooperation at the initiative of Poland.
