VAT Expert Group: Upgrading the EU VAT system – A reflection on possible ways forward

After the succesful adoption of a series of proposals to reboot and make fraud-proof the VAT system, the VAT Expert Group and the Group on the Future of VAT have been asked by the Commission to identify areas where the VAT system could be improved in other areas (financial services and travel agents are already being discussed).
