An English online trading company operating from Middlesex, has been fined £45,500 (€61.000 / $69.000) for non-compliance with environmental legislation across packaging waste, batteries and electrical equipment.
The conviction is the first of its type for failing to comply with rules covering all three materials as well as being the first in the UK for a breach of battery recycling regulations.
